Last week, some readers came across an error code where ft2build.h was not found. This issue occurs for a number of reasons. Now we will discuss them.

    role=”home”>

    If

/usr/include/opencascade/Font_FTLibrary.hxx:23:10: Fatal error: ft2build.such h: file or directory missing

This is usually the header file ft2build.h due to libfreetype.

    Use Ubuntu to install

    sudo apt-get libfreetype6-dev

If the installation repeats itself with most errors, you can go back and add /usr/include/freetype2 to the include location. For GCC/G++ add

    -I/usr/include/freetype2

    To order compiler group arguments.

If you are using enterprise CMake, you can use a similar call in CMakeLists .txt:

    include_directories (/usr/include/freetype2)

/usr/include/opencascade/Font_FTLibrary.hxx:23:10: Fatal error: ft2build.h: No complete file or directory
    sudo apt-get install libfreetype6-dev

If the error persists, you can help by adding /usr/include/freetype2 intent to the includes. GCC/G++, to be added

    -I/usr/include/freetype2

If you are using CMake, you can use this line in your Txt cmakelists:

    include_directories (/usr/include/freetype2)

    ft2build.h not found

So I've had it before, and this time Ifound the correct answer.

    pkg-config --cflags freetype2

I backed up the library so added this as another sudo:

    -I/usr/include/freetype2 -i/usr/include/libpng16
    result of apt-get install libfreetype-dev libfreetype6 libfreetype6-dev

Then link to the title of your new collection. With this projucer simple and easy, just /usr/include/freetype2 add the search paths of the headers in the section to a space.

    ft2build.h not found

Thank you for creating Can le Be. I'm now facing the same version. Nothing, it works.

I tried libfontconfig1-dev, Pkgconfiglib, reinstalled freetype-dev, libfreetype6 libfreetype6-dev for other sites, and libfreetype6 and the problem persists. I installed the exact one via the website's documentation. I also tried to install the required binaries found here under the "Issues" tab but still didn't find a solution.
