    wubi error permission denied

Wubi is the easiest tool in the Linux world to allow Windows users to mount Ubuntu with a single click. Weird, yesterday the installation failed with a message from the fanbase:

Operating system error: [Errno 13] Permission denied: u’C:ubuntuinstallubuntu-9.10-desktop-amd64.iso

Notice. The mistake you just have to directly download is the Ubuntu ISO and put the file on the website where your wubi is located. Now restart wubi and everything will work fine.

II think it’s the error “Exception handling message c0000013, option 75b6bf7c 4” and the window mentions “Windows-No Disk”. This is with the ISO file in a specific directory as Wubi and re-uploading a working Wubi from a disk image I opened with VirtualCloneDrive. What am I doing wrong? The operating system is simply Windows XP SP3.

Glenn, this error has little to do with installation, ie. apparently 8.

Equal to 22, a mistake on my part. I’m running Windows 4 Pro. When I install Ubuntu on my account, Windows keeps freezing. I have a good trusted path “C:Users****AppDataLocalTempwubi-9.10ubuntu1-rev160.log” and I looked. I was out of luck and found this site. Please, I will help! not receive instructions for your blog post.

    wubi error permission denied

Loads very fast, but installation is terrible…very slow. I prefer Windows, it’s expensive, but better, easier… Linux/Ubuntu etc. need to change…

User @Ubuntu, does Windows 7 freeze frequently? To install, simply download the ISO file and place it in the download directory where WUBI is located, then run it.

  • @John My actual installation took about a few minutes, which is significantly faster than installing most OSes. Ask no if you turn on Windows more, but since only one person does the install once, I don’t see it as much of an issue sometimes.
